After the launch of MINIEV, it successfully opened up the blue ocean of mini pure electric vehicle market, but due to the low imitation threshold, many competitors appeared. In addition, after BYD and its birth, the design of front and rear double-row doors brought more practicability, further eroding the market share of Wuling Hongguang MINIEV.

In order to enhance its own market competitiveness, Wuling Hongguang MINIEV will launch the fourth-generation model, which not only adopts a design similar to Wuling Bingo, but also adds four-door versions. At present, the real pictures of the new car have been exposed. Let’s take a look.

The fourth generation Wuling Hongguang MINIEV has a relatively rounded appearance. Its front face style is similar to that of Wuling Binguo, and it is equipped with a large-area closed panel. Annular daytime running lights are added inside the headlight group, and the charging interface is set behind the front logo, which caters to the aesthetics of women.

The side is still the common four-wheel and four-corner shape of mini-cars to ensure the interior space, and a two-color body is adopted to enhance the sense of youth and fashion. In addition, the size of the lower hub is upgraded from 12 inches to 13 inches, and two styles of rim covers are provided. The style of the tail is also relatively simple. The ring taillight group echoes the front face, and the Wuling LOGO is continued. The reversing light and the width indicator light are moved to the bottom.

In addition to continuing to provide three-door and four-seat models, the new car also adds four-door and four-seat models to choose from. The dimensions of the two models are the same, and the mass of the latter is increased by 20 kg. In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 3256/1510/1578mm and the wheelbase is 2190mm, which is 192mm longer, 17mm wider, 36mm lower and 180mm longer than the current models. Although the performance of the second row space in the limited body may be average, it will be more convenient to get in and out of the back row.

In the car, the design layout of the fourth generation Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is also similar to that of Wuling Binguo. The interior color matching of brown and beige creates a sense of grade that is much higher than that of the current models. It is also equipped with a double suspended LCD instrument and a central control panel, and the air outlet of the air conditioner is decorated with silver material, which looks more fashionable.

In the power part, the new Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 30 kW, which is consistent with the 2024 Youth Edition and the Advanced Edition. The maximum speed is 100km/h, and it is equipped with a group with a capacity of 16.2 kWh. The cruising range under CLTC conditions is 205 km. For reference, the 2024 Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is available in 120km, 170km and 215km endurance versions.
